VII. Key policies

  1. On the first student absence, we meet with the student and family and explain why further absences are unacceptable
  2. On the second absence, the student and parent sign a statement that any more absences will result in a drop from the course
  3. Minor student misconduct results in students helping with campus beautification after class ends, managed by admin on duty
  4. More serious misconduct, at the discretion of the admin on duty, results in removal from the class
  5. With the above policies - if a student is enrolled in more than one day, absences or misconduct on one day does not necessarily impact enrollment in any other day(s)
  6. Teacher absences will be covered by SRHS administration to the greatest extent possible.

What is the purpose of the Night School Program

NIght School Program is a credit recovery program that allows students to recover credits for classes with a D or F.

Who can enroll for Night School Program

Current Seniors have priority and then Juniors, followed by Sophomores and then Freshmen.

How do I enroll or sign up to Night School Program

Use the QR Code to sign up for classes.

How many classes can I sign up for?

You can sign up for one class, or as many as five classes if you need them. Students take one class per day which is four hours and 5 hours for science. Each class is worth 5 credits.

How do I know what class I need to sign up for?

In your Aeries account, look at "historical grades" and look at classes that have a D or F that are required for graduation. If you need help our admin and counseling team is here to help. You can email them, stop by the office, or ask during supervision.

When does the Night School Program start

Monday January 29th.

Breaks/Lunch

Students will have 15-20 minute breaks to have a warm meal in the MPR.

If I sign up for a class or more how do I know where to go?

The week of January 22, students and parents will receive an email with a confirmation and information about the room number, teacher, and courses you were enrolled and accepted.

Is attendance required for all classes?

Yes, you may not miss more than 2 days otherwise you will get dropped. If you enroll and miss the first day, you will be dropped. You will need to attend the first and last day of the program to earn credits.
