Social Studies
Mission Statement
Our department is committed to providing an inspiring and rigorous curriculum that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication. Through an exploration of the past, students will be challenged to analyze patterns that will equip them to be involved community members and creative problem solvers. The academic skills they will learn are specifically designed to prepare them to be self-directed learners for a successful transition to college and career.
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
- George Santayana
